Selling xbox 360 with gwg inside

Hi everyone, I am going to sell my xbox 360 and buy a xbox one. In my 360 hard drive I have all gwg downloaded during these months.

From Xbox Live Usage Rules:

Xbox 360 Digital Games

• How many consoles can I use a game on and who can use it?
  
  You can use games on the first Xbox 360 console you downloaded it to. Access to the game will also be granted to all users on the first console. If you transfer the game using a memory unit or other storage device, you will also be able to use it on other
  Xbox 360 consoles, but you’ll need to sign in to Xbox Live with your Xbox Live account on that console before accessing the game.
  

So even if I delete my account, the new owner will be able to play al games on my 360 hard drive.

1. Is it 100% legal? It is compatible with xbox rules but want to be sure because I don't want to risk an account ban.

Yesterday Phil Spencer annunced the backward compatibility, it means that I will be able to play some 360 gwg. Also, next year my brother is going to university and he want to buy an xbox 360 for playing old games.

2. When backward compatibility will come on xbox one I will be able to play my 360 gwg even if them are already downloaded to the first console I sold?

3. With my account my brother (using his xbox 360) and I (using my xbox one) will be able to play my 360 gwg even if them are already downloaded to the first console I sold?

Xbox One Games with Gold not redeeming properly from Xbox 360

onyx62is, what daftpunk749 is saying about the commerce page is also the case with my account too. While I have had no problem with GWG so far, none of them appear on the commerce page. None of the 360 GWG show up nor do the Xbox One GWG. I don't yet
have an Xbox One so I don't know if that will be a problem but even the 360 GWG games that I have successfully downloaded and played do not show up one the commerce site. None of them.

 

Games with gold question

Hi, I have been playing Xbox 360 for years now and plan to get the One in 2 months. With GWG I have been using my Xbox 360 and going in the GWG for Xbox One games and selecting the option 'Get this', when I push it, it then says 'You have this'. My question
is if when I get the One will I be allowed to download those games that were offered with GWG for the One of the previous months?

 

The games will still be tied to your account. You cannot transfer ownership to anyone else and it is against the rules to sell digital games. So a new owner may have access to the games if the console licenses are still on that console, but if you were to
perform a license transfer to another 360 or they have to get a new console, they will lose access to those games.

Since the games are tied to your account, you will be able to redownload them and play them on tje One even if you no longer have your 360.

 

Sell the xbox, but don't mention the games in your ads. If a potential buyer is on the fence about it THEN mention the games.

As a multi boxer- (3rd one...) as long as they don't delete your game from the 360, they can continue to play it, (you can even play with the person if you both have gold!!!) and you can play on your new 360 or one. Warn them if they delete it it's gone,
they can't re-download it. I've also done a license transfer, unless they've actually changed the lic transfer process behind the scenes since we got our second, they can still access the games.
