Selling spare Xbox but don’t won’t to lose account

Hi all i have 2 xboxs signed in im selling 1 of them and need to wipe it but wont to keep my xbox account

You won’t lose any games if you reset your Xbox. You would just need to log back in and then reinstall them. But I don’t think that will change your account. It is worth a try.

To wipe it do a full factory reset. The account will still be able to be used on the other Xbox, without any loss of data.

 

so if i reset the 1 im selling it will delete the account on the 1 im selling but my account will still be active on the console im using with same game tag account

That is correct. Once you factory reset the Xbox you're selling, all of the data will be wiped from it (accounts, personal data, games, applications, and save data). Since your account/Gamertag is connected to Xbox Live, it will still remain on your other,
unwiped Xbox.

 

Yes that is correct. All account data is stored in the cloud.
