i was thinking about selling my xbox one s (and possibly my 360 if someone would buy it) and get a new gaming pc. will factory resetting them delete my accounts and all the account info like credit cards and passwords off of the
xbox? if not is there a way i can do so to prevent someone gaining assess to my account?

At this point, you would be better off tossing it. The profit alone wouldn't match postage.

page to reset an Xbox One, you want to make sure you select "Reset and remove everything."

That is the option that will reset the console to factory settings and erase/delete all user data (accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps) on the console.

A factory reset is what you would need to do to reset the console to sell it. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/reset-console-to-factory-defaults It will not have any effect on any accounts or saves on the Series X. It will only remove content from the One.
