Selling my Xbox 360 for Xbox One

I'm looking forward to selling my Xbox 360 so I can buy the Xbox ONE and I'm wondering if I would be able to save my online profile. I would be getting the Xbox One after I sell my 360 but I don't what whoever I'm selling my console to have access to my
profile. How can I keep my profile but make sure no one else can access it?

Need for Speed Rivals from Xbox 360 to Xbox One

Hey,

I am selling my Xbox 360 and getting Xbox One. I have bought Need for Speed: Rivals for Xbox 360 and it has Xbox One version too. Can I still play it in Xbox One even through i haven't buy the Xbox One version?

I would be happy for this. I avoided it on 360 as knew I was selling my 360 to fund my Xbox One.

 

You just need to log into your profile from your new machine, which means you need to know your user name and password. To make sure who ever buys your 360 doesn't have access, you need to reformat the 360 hard drive before you sell it.

 

Keep your 360, the money you get for it will be minimal at the moment.

I guarantee at some point you will regret selling it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I will consider hanging on to my 360 for a little while longer since Microsoft will support it until 2016.

 

I agree you should keep your 360, especially if you have friends that have not made the upgrade, because you will not be able to go into party chat with them if they are on 360 and you are on ONE. And from personal point I enjoy going back to 360 to play
some older games.

And I am sure you won't get a lot of money for it. So yeah keep it.

 

Also, if you're going for the X1 you're more than likely going to stay Gold meaning you can just log on every 15 days onto your 360 and get a free game to keep for life..

Can't really complain with that, especially seeing as selling your 360 will net you £30 or so selling it, whereas Games with Gold you're looking at about £20 of free games per month just on 360

 

As someone who traded their 360 for the One and ended up returning the One. I would highly encourage you to keep the 360. I now have no console and wish I just had my 360 again.

 

I <3 my 360 and will N E V E R let it go! I just finally managed to give my pristine Gamecube and original Xbox away to an adorable little family member. I'm not sure why it's so hard for me to part with game systems.
