Selling a 360

Well, I just purchased my friend's white, original xbox 360 from him. Plans fell through, and the would be owner doesn't want it anymore. So, I'm planning on selling it.

It still has it's original box, works nicely, all the packaging, as well as the manuals with an HDMI port. It does have some minor surface wear, but I'm not quite sure how much I can get out of it. It has an 8 gig hard drive as well, not to mention the AV
cable / power brick. I'm thinking 90.

Im going to sell my 360 and buy the new either 4gb one or the 250gb one but i need to sell my old elite to have the money to buy it and i was wondering how i can get my account to the new one without deleting it off the 120gb elite one that im selling ?

There is no 8gb hard drive for the 360.Do you mean a USB drive?

As it's an old white model you wont get much for it,not sure what you mean by 90, dollars,pounds,euro's?

 

Its not worth 90 dollars ,euros or pounds.

The old ones don`t fetch much at all as they are very unreliable and you can never be sure they are not banned when buying.

You definitely need controllers with it and games to get anywhere near the money you want.

 

@Daft Badger: I just switched on the console, and the drive isn't an 8 gig like I was told, it's a 14, my mistake. As for what I mean, I mean 90 american dollars.

@TheOwenKiller: I would not be selling the console on ebay, rather a small shop named SuperMegaReplay which deals in used gaming items from original xbox items to the xbox 1, as well as PS items, really anything gaming.

 

Why should we care your selling a 360???

Adverts are not allowed..... Anyone can purchase the same thing at anytime anyplace they desire....

 

I'm not advertising, I'm asking how much it's worth.

 

I think a googlle/Bing/ search maybe more helpful..... Look up what your selling to see what others are selling it for... Try E-bay/Amazon/ a local store/ Ask someone on the street how much they would pay....... Are you sure your friend wants it sold??

The console is not banned, the would be owner doesn't want it anymore, and I don't want it nor need it, so I'd like to sell it. The reason why the would-be owner doesn't want it, is because her folks got her a much newer one, so obviously she doesn't want
this one, which is also why I'm planning on selling it.

All I want to know is approximately how much this console is worth so I can sell it at a fair price. That's all. I'm not an XBOX 360 expert, so I know little about them; just enough to get me by which is why I'm here today.

TL;DR: Nobody I know wants it, I don't know how much it's worth, will somebody tell me about how much it's worth?

 

I think you'd struggle to get $90 for the console if selling it at a store. Old style 360s sell for around $120 used when you buy them from a store, so you can knock off a minimum of $20 at the very least. The store will want to make a good profit after
all.

You can then knock off another $20 in my opinion because of the size of the storage that comes with it and the old style's lack of reliability.

Also you could also knock more off the price you'd get because more and more people are already trading in their 360s for an Xbox One, so the store will already likely have an excess of stock.

Plus game stores always give you less if you want cash, rather than credit to spend in store.

Realistically if you go to sell it at a store, you'll be looking to $50 to $70.
