Sell my xbox because Microsoft is too money-derived?

Microsoft really made me mad when they didn't make the biggest FTP game(fortnite) in world free to play

You still have to buy the gold subscription. I understand if they wanted you to buy a gold subscription for CoD and pay-to-play games but still needing a subscription for free-to-play games is crossing the line, I wanted to support Microsoft by buying the
Xbox one and Xbox one S console but I might as well just get a Playstation 4,because it's honestly better than this junk I have hooked up to my TV

please Microsoft, be smart and make FTP games really free-to-play

Had original Xbox. Have 360. M$ giving me too many reasons to not continue with their product. Too bad because I really am a big 360 fan. But right now, Sony is getting my console money. Used games and easy lending sell it for me.

All users must pay for access to the servers for Fortnite, even if it's just through the ISP. The Xbox Live system is fair, since it does not prioritize one game or one developer over another. All users benefit from the maintenance on the Live infrastructure,
so it wouldn't be fair for one subset of users to get a free ride simply because a game is currently enjoying its 15 minutes of fame.

What company does not want to make revenue? It is how they keep their services up and running. From my experience, Microsoft does extremely well at keep Xbox live services up and running compared to its competitor. In fact, outages are few and far between.
if you are arguing moving to PS, the answer is the same ultimately, you will need PS's gold subscription to access its premium features. Both need revenue at the end of the day but in my opinion, Microsoft's service far exceeds its competitors.
