    I got a message about testing this feature but I had no eligible returns so I bought a 15$ game and played it for about 5 minutes. I then closed the app and went to the website and the option for the return/refund is there and I meet all criteria to receive
    the return:

    Played for less then 2 hrs

    purchase is within 14 days

    Console is on, connected to the internet and signed in

    the game is currently closed

    I have even restarted the Xbox One X but I continue to get a error that pretty much says the system is having a issue gathering the data of how long I have played it.

    Get more info. Make sure all the devices you installed the item on are powered on and signed in to your account. All copies of the game or app must be closed. To close the game on
    Xbox, press the Menu button and select Quit. To close it on your PC, select the X in the upper right of the window. If you continue to get this message, try restarting your devices.

    I'd really like to return this and not be stuck with it.

    Also there is a problem with the wording above, you can only be signed into one xbox at a time so how is one suppose to be signed into every Xbox it is installed on?

    Refund on downloaded game

    Did you try the options of
    Self Service Refunds
    ? This allows you to return a digital game if you're returning it within 14 days of purchase and have not played it for more than 2 hours.

    Check this link for steps: How to return and get refund from Xbox Store via self service refunds

    It involves going to account.microsoft.com, then go to your orders, and you should be able to see option for Refund, if that game is eligible for online refund. Else, have a chat with Xbox Support (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/),
    and they are really helpful.

  5. The option is there, so I'm assuming its eligible, the problem is coming from the system failing to gather the data on how long I have used it, which is about all of 10 mins now.

    Yes this problem will fix it self over time. As games have service issue it can affect the gamerscores and when they recover the score should return. I've heard it can be several days for the correction to occur
