Sega mega drive classics

So, i have just bought the above mention game for my son. Some the games play from right to left (in particular sonic) instead of the other way. Also all of the writing is the round way round too!

dont think its the game (2nd copy of this) or the console. I am thinking the TV, but not sure how to do this.

tried a different tv. It is still this disc.

Im away to try a different xbox. Then im guessing it is the game that is the issue. 😰

Ive swapped output and it is still doing the same thing.

it is the only game that plays from right to left and the only game that shows the writing backwards.

the tv is quite old. It is an hitachi L42VK04U

When the game loads and you get to the game room highlight the mega drive console. A list of options should appear. Pick emulator options, over to the side should be an option for mirror mode. Make sure that is unchecked.

Can you access settings menu in the game, to see if it has some strange setting that is causing this. If you can't find anything and it is only this disk that has the issue, I would return it either for refund or exchange. If other disks are playing fine,
I can't see it being the Xbox that is at fault, though it is worth checking.
