seen a pubg xbox one x promotion an was trying to figure out how to receive the game

i have recently purchased an Xbox one x and see on the Xbox one x store that purchasers of the Xbox one x are eligible to receive a code for player unknowns battlegrounds and was wondering how i would be able to receive this code as i have not. thank you.

pubg promotion

I won my xbox one x through the mountain dew/doritos promotion. I just received and setup my xbox today, and was told I could receive the pubg download from microsoft since I got my console during the promotion. I had a nice long conversation with support
staff reference #1409060266. Hope you can help me out.

 

You would have had to purchase the bundle that included the game.

oh okay so if i bought it from best buy it doesn't apply..? that is where i got it and they never said anything about the promotion so that is why when i got home an seen it was not the happiest as i would love to add this game to my collection for free
as that is what the promotion is. is there anything i would be able to do in order to receive this game via this promotion?

 

Same here, contacted microsoft and was told to post on here and maybe someone will see it. Had nothing yet. Poor microsoft

 

You'd have to contact Best Buy to see if they are taking part in the promotion and see if they can exchange your original purchase for the bundled promotion.

 

I seen the same promotion and not happy that those of us that bought the new product early get less then those that procrastinate.
