    Seems to be a common issue with downloads restarting at 79%


    Hey all,

    Is possible to ESCALATE the infamous download restarts at 79% issue? Mine is happening with my Xbox 360 as well.

    Seems to be happening to a great number of people and especially since we have all taken part in any and all possible troubleshooting recommendations. Thanks. Stay healthy my friends.

    Netflix Problems?

    I am having the same issue where Netflix stops downloading at 79% and restarts. Eventually Xbox tells me "Can't download Netflix".

    No,the download just restarts again and again when it arrives at 79%. A lot of people is complaining about that problem, it seems to be a problem with the server. We just have to wait until it's fixed.

    Halo: Reach demo download gets interrupted every time

    I am having similar issue with downloading Halo: Reach Demo. After downloading 79% percent the message appears "Can't download Halo: Reach Demo" and download is terminated. If I restart it (by choosing "Download again") it seems to continue with the download
    from 78% and at 79% it quits again.

    I have tried to add it to the queue from web interface and from console, it has the same effect. I have also deleted the downloaded content on xbox and redownloaded from scratch and again got stuck at 79%.

    Interesting point is that web (and xbox) shows that the demo has 1.74 GB and when I was deleting the local downloaded content (which was supposed to be 79% of the data) the xbox showed me 1.8 GB allocated on local hard drive.

    So I wonder if there could be some mismatch between the data sizes and that is why it is always cut at the same place.

    I have been having the same issue! I kept trying and just now it finished the download. Keep trying and good luck!

    This problem has been happening for a week and no real solution nor proper explanation has been made. I own about 200 360 games and can't access them.I have been a customer for over ten years. This is shameful microsoft
