Seeking suggestions: uncovering reason for suspension

I reluctantly allow my son to play online games, and monitor his activity closely. On a daily basis, I ask him to remove himself from groups, etc, due to foul language, potential scammers (ugh, Fortnite!), and so forth. So when we discovered today he's
received a twenty-four hour suspension - after a long period of inactivity - I'm frustrated. Other than generic, non-specific info regarding possible reasons for an account being suspended, we have no idea what happened. It's not eligible for a case review.


Thoughts from more experienced folks? We want to prevent this from happening in the future. Yes, we've carefully reviewed the Code of Conduct again today, and in our household there are strict rules regarding personal conduct online. I stay within earshot
every time he plays. With all of the foul language, crude humor, etc, etc, he encounters, I'm puzzled as to the reasons he's been suspended. We've used this account as a family for at least 12 years without a single violation. We'd like to maintain our
'online reputation,' so to speak.

Reason for suspension?

We did update the billing information with the customer service guy by phone. He told me to come in here to find out why the account was "suspended" from purchasing. Was he incorrect?

The parent account associated with the gamertag is no longer active (they signed up using my adult nephews account rather than making a new one for me, his actual parent). Is there a way to switch the parent account on a gamer tag? Could this be the problem
with the account, because the parent account does not match the billing information? Partial billing is still going thru because they are still charging my CC for the xbox live account each month, but we can't download new maps, etc.

Reason for suspension?

That's a error code to do with purchasing rather than a suspension code. If he was suspended you'd get a message that says "this account has been suspended until XX/XX/XXXX". Check your credit card details and personal info stored on that account are up
to date and correct.
