Seeing NON friends come online

Ok, so after dealing with poor support via Twitter, I thought maybe I could come here for a more proper response.

As the title says, I'm seeing people who are NOT friends come online. I've blocked, unblocked & reblocked some of these users & I still see them come online as if they are friends. I've power cycled & recovered my tag (like that's really a viable fix to begin
with) & that did not work

I then get a poor response that just set me off. Can I message the user(s) & ask them to block me.

Now, what if I want to friend this person down the road, or if I need to message them for something for some reason or another? I won't be able to do it because of this horrible suggestion of a fix & the inability of the support on Twitter to say something
even like, We do not know of a proper fix for this but we will send your issue up the chain for tech support to look into.

Shame on Xbox & Microsoft for employing (paid or not) people who would even offer such a suggestion instead of admitting that the issue sits within a broken OS. Lets just take a second & assume that the issue for once might not be on the end of the user. Lets
actually take a real look into the issue instead of faulting the user & giving a horrible solution to fix the problem which will then lead into another problem of not being able to message / game invite someone in the future if needed for whatever reason.

I am debating getting this for myself or for a friend (their birthday is coming up). Has anyone read some of the reviews that are currently online for it? I caught the commercial over the weekend and now I am non-stop reading to see if its really going to be worth the money.

However, I'd like to look into your particular issue further via private message. What I need from you is the gamertags you've blocked that are giving you notifications, and the exact time, date, and your time zone that you last blocked them. If you can't
remember when that was, please unblock them and block them again for me. Note that time. If they show up as a notification again, please send me that private message detailing this information. We are required to have this information so that the investigating
teams can sift through data easier than a general time frame.

Hi Misses Quinzel,

I tried to send the PM, but I'm not sure if it sent. Services seem to be messing things up right now. I do not have that info though. I don't want to continue to block good people for the sake of not having to see non friends come online. Some of these players
were old friends on the 360 that I removed foe lack of playing or needing space. No reason to block them. Only reason I block people usually is because they were annoying in one way or another. I only tried blocking a couple of these others to avoid seeing
them come online & I don't even know who they are.

Old thread I know but it's an issue again. Not sure how many others are having this issue, hopefully a lot because it needs fixing.
