Seeing about an old Xbox Live account

I've filled out the form in the past with the help of a call before hand. Now I'm just stuck at a dead end for the time being and no i dont remember the password

I'm not finding what you're talking about the contact us part. Also I know the email but i don't have access to it anymore.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Currently the only way to recover an account is the

account recovery form. You will need to know at least the email for the account. If you do know the gamer tag, you can request a call from support. If they are able to verify the account, they can give you some information from the account to help you.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
  
• Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
  
• Step 3-----select show contact options
  
  Step 4 ----select request call from support
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.The number posted
no longer works any longer its all through contact us now.

Do you remember the password?

Have you tried recovering the account at account.live.com/acsr

If you have and filled out the form and gotten back an email saying that you have not provided them with enough information unless you have a Xbox that profile has been on before Xbox support will not be able to help you get back into that account.

Thanks, but no dice. I signed out of everything and I'm still seeing the old image. The only place it consistently shows me the new picture is on my Microsoft account page. Even my Xbox Live profile page shows the old image, despite being signed into the
same account as on the Microsoft account page. I'm about to give up on this...
