Seeds Discovery

If you're looking to start a new world then Seeds might be important. Seeds change when Minecraft gets an update so this thread will be used to keep track of cool ones people find. Maybe there are plentiful resources, lots of biomes, an easter egg or just
a generally cool looking landscape. Use this thread to tell us what you find. It'll help if you include which update you found it in since after Minecraft gets an update the older posts in this thread may become irrelevant. (if it all still works that way)

no sound on hdmi

Hi, so you get sound with display discovery off but not with display discovery turned on? Display discovery doesn't have to be enabled its just an option. So if your sound and display are ok with display discovery off just leave it off it won't hurt anything.

MustangGTconvertible , just like that , seems a promising mix of biomes , but I haven;t mined it yet .

 

It would seem no one else has 1) read this post or 2) tried any particular seeds .

 

I have one called bestseed and it's pretty good.

 

I had a great one, but my game is frozen and I don't know the name. IF I get in, how do I know the seed name?

 

Survival Island is one of my fave the seed I simple..... island just like that

 

2 very nice seeds: first one has a ton of very large mountains and is my primary map.

i have on e it is my world is lustful one every time i use this seed it give me a mushroom biomes

 

How do you play a seed map?

 

You enter the seed code for it to generate that specific world/map.

 

to check what seed your map is, go to the menu of minecraft then click play game, and click on the world u want to load and before u load it, it will show the seed of that world

The reason I love this map, is that just a short distance north of where you start in the jungle is a nice clearing in the plains, with animals close by. Beneath the clearing are diamonds!

In the distance off the coast you can see a mushroom island (which has a lost mineshaft deep under it). I have barely scratched the surface of this seed, but have already found so much on it.
