Need advice: son's old x-box was traded in at Games Stop a few years ago. He did not clear the data; now a young kid is charging games to his account. Called Microsoft, they had him change email address and gave him a pin; Called Game Stop and advised they
didn't clear the data, but they have no way of tracking who they sold it to. After research, found that old xbox does not need a pin to buy games/services, so the pin option not working. He was reimbursed once, but now more charges. Changing the credit card
on the account does not help either, it's attached to the gamer tag on that old xbox even though the new owner has his own gamer tag; New owner has told people he is not (my son't gamer tag) and not to request him to play games. Any ideas?

@scotsman - this has nothing to do with people who play FIFA 12 except that the hackers (excuse me, "scam artists" since microsoft is claiming its just a scam) use FIFA as their way of stealing all your points and transferring them as cards, which they can
sell for currency. My account was compromised and I have never played FIFA on any Xbox console in my life let alone my own.

Remove your password from other Xbox 360 consoles remotely

If you download your Xbox Live profile to another console and it's not password protected, or if your password becomes compromised, you can remotely remove the password so that no one else can access your profile.
There are two ways to do this:

Option 1:
Change your password. The next time anyone tries to sign in on any console where your password has been saved, the sign-in will fail if they don't know the new password.

Option 2: Remove your profile from all Xbox 360 consoles where it's been previously downloaded. Here's how:

1. Sign in to your account on Xbox.com.
   
2. Select Xbox settings from your gamertag drop-down.
3. Select Xbox 360 profile protection.
4. Select Require Profile Download.

Once you select Require Profile Download, it will take effect immediately. Your profile and history will remain on Xbox.com, Xbox Live, and Xbox 360 consoles. But anyone (including you) who wants to use
an Xbox 360 console with your profile on it will be required to redownload your profile to connect to Xbox Live.

If it is on an xbox one then you would just need to sign into account.live.com and change your password and the next time the person tries to sign in it will ask for the new password and they wont be able to sign in with the account if they dont know the
new password.
