Security proofs always asking for more

Discus and support Security proofs always asking for more in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Whenever the proofs come up they want me to setup more of them now iv run out of ones to setup I have at least 5 setup.     Whenever the proofs come up they want me to setup more of them now iv run out of ones to setup I have at least 5 setup. Is it meant to send me a code everytime it wants to verify who I am because it didn't only the first time then just wants me to add

    I got sick of it asking for security proofs so I just added the xbox to the authenticator app on my windows phone. No more annoying security proofs stuff whenever I sign in anymore.

    why does a child account that cannot purchase anything need secuity proofs ?

    It requires security proof so that the account can't be easily taken by someone.

    It will ask for proofs to be re-entered if you are trying to do specific things within the account which is explained in more detail here -

    support.xbox.com/.../security-proofs


    Is there anything in particular you are trying to do when it keeps requesting your proofs? Trying to update details, moving accounts frequently between consoles, going into the Marketplace etc?

    You will want to sign into her account at account.live.com

    once there you can go to security in the blue bar at the top of the screen.

    It will probably ask you to verify the account with a security code now if you do not have access to any of the security proofs (where MS is sending the code) then you can change the security proof BUT there would be a 30 day waiting period before the security
    proof change takes affect.

    You would still be able to sign into the account but anything that would require a security proof (changing password, phone numbers, security proofs) Once the 30 day hold is over at that point you would be able to do any of those things on the account because
    the security proof would be changed at that point.

    If you do have the capability of accessing the current security proof and can verify the account ownership with that then on the next page you would be able to change the current security proof you can have multiple security proofs (email addresses, Phone
    numbers) so that if you do lose access to one you always have a back up.

    Hey there, are you referring to the secondary email you add to your account as a security proof? Have you done this through the PC or console because if it's still asking for you to add an email there's a good chance it hasn't worked properly.

    Please follow the link and click 'Manage your security info' and sign-in to add security proofs and also verify them. Once that's done you shouldn't be asked to add another email:
