Security information still pending.

Hello Kathy,

Thank you for your response again. I thought I had other security information on there, I'll have to check when I'm able to get back in. Is there any way of finding out the exact time I'll be able to get back in? I haven't been able to sign into my account on my Xbox because if shows the same message and won't allow me to sign in until the process is complete. I will be turning off two factor authentication when I can get back in because I would prefer to be able to change my mind about changing details and not have to use an authenticator, as my service provider disconnected my old number erroneously which is the whole reason I've had to wait for this 30 day process to complete.

Thank you for the screenshot and yes, it is showing that you will have to wait for 30 days for complete the pending update of your security information.

The 30-days may have no Next button because the security information you had with this account is this phone number alone. It is best practice to ensure you have added 2 - 3 verification methods to your account and if this will be lifted after 30 days, we hope that you will continue to secure this account more.

Although you will have to patiently wait for this pending update of security information, you may still use this account for gaming and other Microsoft Services. However, services that may require verification like access to payment option and updating password will be not accessible as you will get this notification.
