security codes all the time ! need help!

so i m trying to change some of the setting on my account/profile thru xbox.com however everytime i try to access "sensitive" info i either have to get a call with a code. or get to my email address which is annoying me and its not a two-step verification.
anybody have an idea on how to take this off and still have a safe account? i contacted support but no luck

i cant sign in!!! help!!

ok, so a while back LIVE sent me a message over xbox live and said that i needed to enter in a security code for my account so no one else could sign in to it. i ignored it. a few days ago i was at my friends house and i couldnt download my account. an error code popped up. now when i try to sign in to xbox live on my computer, it makes me go through all this crap. my email hooked up to xbox live is hotmail and it is microsoft too. i have to enter that stuff in my hotmail account too! Help!

Going in Circles.

I have been trying to cancel my subscription and it asks for a security code. As I need to log on to another email to enter the security code. So when, when I log into my original account to cancel the subscription, it then asks for yet another security
code. I seem to have done this a few times, and am able to get nowhere. Could you help? Thanks.

i figured it out and for future references all you have to do is check the option " i sign into this device all the time " after that all you got to do is remeber your password and type it in.thanks killerklown. you're welcome

I understand the need for extra security. What I don't understand is MS asking me every F'N time I turn my 360 on, I thought it was a one time thing to get the security code. You want to ask me for that code, fine........stop asking for another email and
phone number all the time please. You are lowering the life expectancy of my 360 by making me restart it constantly......and it's not so much of a secure system if I can bypass it by restarting the console.

support can reset the family settings for you just make sure you register your console first on
myservice.xbox.com/.../Welcome.aspx

also have your email address handy because you will be asked to verify your account.

That's pretty much all you need.

oh and the number is 1-800-4MYXBOX
