    I have tried for weeks to get a security code to log into my Xbox one, however one is never received at my email address. I tried to log into Xbox support and they want to send a security code for me to log in there and I never receive that code either.
    Please help I am very irritated.

    Hi there FSUCOP DCB,

    The verification step is there to protect your account from unauthorized access to personal information and downloads from Xbox Live. You can disable this feature by logging in here:
    Sign in to your Microsoft account and going to "security info" It is called two step verification. Hope your problem gets resolved.

    https://account.live.com    .

    Pre-paid codes should be redeemable from the console if they are not working on the web.

    Have you tried to receive the security code via alternative means: phone number tied to account (text vs phone call)

    You should make sure it is not in your junk folder. If its not see if you can send in a alternate email on file or have it texted to your phone if you had that added as an alternate option.

    there is nowhere for me to change how I can get the code and yes the junk folder was the first place I checked.

    If you know your email and password you can go to https://account.microsoft.com/ sign in and click on the blue security tab at the top of page. Then click update info (it should be in the center of the screen).
    Then click add security info. I would recommend adding a phone number. Then just have the code sent to your phone. You can also add another email.

    @crafty1992: Please sign in with your Microsoft account email at account.live.com and update the email association and/or security features of your account.

    Should you encounter anymore issues, please turn off two-step verification.

    Here's how:

    1.Sign in to your Microsoft account.

    2.If prompted to validate your identity, enter the security code that was sent to your device.

    3.Select Security & privacy, and then select More security settings.

    4.Under Security settings, scroll down to Two-step verification.

    5.Select Turn off two-step verification, and then confirm the change when prompted.

    Update me of the progress please. :)
