Secret Weapons over Normandy on Xbox One & Xbox Series S/X DLC Packs

Please provide a Title Update to “Secret Weapons over Normandy” on Xbox One & Xbox Series S/X to include the 4 DLC Packs previously available for download. I recently purchased Secret Weapons Over Normandy by Lucas Arts in the Microsoft store on my Xbox Series S/X. I previously owned and played this game on the PlayStation 2. I did not realize that the Xbox version of this game had exclusive DLC! There are 4 DLC packs for this game which include new single player missions, multiplayer/split screen missions, and 4 exclusive aircraft that I was never able to see or unlock back when I played this game for the PS 2. The PlayStation version didn’t even have a bonus game mode or section to download DLC!

After doing my research, I learned that the DLC Packs were available on the Official Xbox Magazine Demo Discs #33, #34, and #35 so I got a hold of them and downloaded the DLC packs off the Discs onto my Original Xbox! What amazing fun!! I got to play missions and aircraft I had never previously experienced. The only downside is that the Original Xbox naturally does not have the better graphics and high-definition capabilities of the Xbox Series S/X. I also couldn’t button map my controller as I had on my Xbox Series S/X to make the game more playable.

Since the Online Servers for this game are naturally no longer running, I am not able to go in and download the DLC. I knew there were 26 playable aircraft in this game and now that I know there are 4 more, I really want the option to get them! This game was amazing when it released and still is! Since the game was released by Lucas Arts, you can even unlock the X-Wing and Tie Fighter in this World War 2 arcade air combat platform after beating the game of course!

You have already provided the DLC to many Original Xbox Star Wars/Lucas Arts games in the form of Title Updates such as the original classic “Star Wars Battlefront” (released for the Original Xbox in 2004) and “Star Wars Battlefront II” (released for the Original Xbox in 2005). Can we please get a Title Update for Secret Weapons Over Normandy on Xbox One & Xbox Series S/X to include the DLC Packs?

Hello Trooper109, the purpose of this community is more focused on troubleshooting whether on consoles, PC, games, etc.

When it comes to games, DLC's that are in store, whether they go to the store etc. we can not speculate or speak on behalf of Microsoft or some developer.

However by the latest news from Microsoft regarding retro-compatible games, that they have exhausted the ability to add games from the 360 and the previous generation, with this will no longer add games from these consoles, I find it unlikely that it appears in the store.

There is another factor that contributes to this does not happen, each games, DLC etc has the final word of the developer to go to the digital store, outside that depends on licensing agreements, be it image, sound, characters etc so many games or add-ons do not go to digital stores or are removed from it.

Is the console and games from the same region if not there is no way to get an out of region game to play sorry.

The Series X controllers available now uses the same official battery packs as the Xbox One and Series S controllers.

The original poster bought an Xbox One S, not a Series S and was comparing it to an Xbox One X, not a Series X.
