Secret Achievement Sharing on the XBOX Console Companion App

I have a question. Some of the games I play have secret achievements. These can only be seen on your achievement list by you if you unlock them. Also, your friends can only see them if they play the games and unlock them for themselves. However, what is very weird is that the XBOX Console Companion app (XCCA) posts these secret achievements to your activity feed but no one can see them. Why is this? What is the point posting these secret achievements to your activity feed on the XCCA if no one can see them? For example, I unlocked four achievements in SiNKR last evening. Two of them are secret achievements. I saw that all four of them were posted on my activity feed. I asked a friend to check them on the activity feed. However, the person only saw two. What can be done to display these achievements on your activity feed so that people can at least see them? Do I have to manually type them out? I would do that. That is how I let my friends know the achievements I unlock on Windows phone and other XBOX Live games in which achievements are not usually posted.

Thanks. Maybe that is how it is. I will type mine out manually on the activity feed but I will only give the name and the date I unlocked them. GS value and description will be hidden. If they want to know more, they will have to contact me or do other research.

They are the same as regular achievements. They can only be revealed to the users once they unlock them by playing the game.

The alleged reason behind them being secret would be to prevent spoiling certain game plot points.

I understand you need help in sharing your achievements to your club.

Actually, this feature is available on the Xbox console companion app.

Since you have Windows 10 PC, just open Xbox console companion app or install it if you do not have it yet. Once you are signed in to the app, just go to your achievements by clicking on the trophy icon on the left panel. From there, you should see your achievements and you can share it to your club using the share button.

edit and share clips on Windows 10.

Note In March of 2020 the option to upload images and game clips from the Xbox Console Companion (Beta) app was permanently removed. You’ll need to upload images and game clips from the non-beta version of the Xbox Console Companion
app.

You should be able to see shared content with the Xbox Companion App (game bar does not allows this), make sure your app is updated and if that doesnt work try reseting the app.

Windows key > Search: Xbox console companion > right clic> app settings> reset.
