Second XBox ... What about GamePass and Gold?

Hey there!

I`m about to get a new xbox_one_x. Now I wanna pass my xbox_one_s to my son. The X will stay in my Studio, while the s will then be used at home.

Will my son/family still have Access to my GamePass and Gold Account? Maybe if I define the s as "home console"? And if so, will I still be able to use GamePass and Gold in the Studio?

How long does it take for xbox quest to show its been completed?

Thank you for answer so fast Nestor! I guess I didn't specify it good enough. but it wasn't a gamepass quest. it was a xbox quest for getting a month of gamepass for the 5k points. There are 2 objectives to do. 1st click the top punchout to activate the
quest then the 2nd was to the link to the Microsoft store gamepass page. an there is where I entered the redeem code. the 1st objective was completed within seconds of me clicking it an the second one hasn't showed up yet. I just don't want to waste 6.8k on
gamepass if I don't get the 5k points for me to use towards my1 month of xbox live. thank you again for the quick response!

Yes, the game will be yours even when the gamepass subscription has ended.

Same for Deals with Gold discounts, then game/content will remain yours if Gold subscription has ended.

Side note: Games with Gold are different though, Xbox One games obtained for free while they were the Game with Gold will only work when there is an active Gold subscription.

 

Hi! the best way to set up your consoles will be to set as your personal Xbox the one your son will be using (being your xbox one s) that way you will share your services with the users on that console without the need of signing in

Thanks for bringing this up to our attention. As you stated above on the post if you make the Xbox One S the Home Xbox everyone back home will be able to use your Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass on their own accounts without having to log you off from your
Xbox One X. This means you guys would be able to even play at the same time different account same subscription.
