Second Xbox, Questions about Gold, Access, Home Xbox, etc.

Hello,

I have read a number of forum posts and think that I have bits and pieces of the info I am looking for. I have an Xbox One with a Live Gold account with myself as the primary and two child accounts. We have purchased a new Xbox One S (digital) for a child
as a present. I have read the benefits of designating a "Home" Xbox, but I am unclear on how this affects the second Xbox.

1. Is there a way to set it up so that the new Xbox has access to the digital content of the original Xbox? I downloaded the Star Wars Battlefront games for him and ideally would like him to have access on the new Xbox.

2. Is there a way that the new Xbox will have the benefits of the Live Gold subscription, essentially to play online?

3. If #2 is a yes, will it be possible for both Xbox units to be online simultaneously, or do I need a second Xbox Live Gold thing for that to happen? We would not be in the same game; I typically just play Rocket League and he plays the Star Wars games
and Fortnite.

4. If I do need to make a second Live Gold thing, can I do it with the same email info, and will I then need to make a second child account so he can play the content?

My apologies if I have any of the terminology wrong, I realized early in to researching this problem that I have a poor understanding of the lingo and how things are set up in general. Thank you in advance for the help.

We run 2 xboxes all the time, basically we have our front room xbox set as the home xbox for the account with gold. Any other child accounts and other adult silver accounts can play on this xbox with out the gold account being signed in. The backroom xbox
is setup for the gold account to log into, this xbox is not setup for any account as home. So the only account that can really use it is the one that has gold which is my account. So I can play in the backroom while the kids play in the front. So what we do
if both kids want to play on separate xboxes? I sign my gold account into the backroom and then allow one of the kids to also sign in. As long as the gold account is logged into the backroom both kids can play on either xbox. As for content it needs to be
bought and downloaded by the account that has gold for everyone to have access to it on the home xbox. Hope that kinda gives you a picture of how it works.

It depends what is it you are trying to do with the account. The home Xbox setting only gives her access to gold features, like party chat, multiplayer, etc, etc. She will not get access to deals with gold or games with gold, because the account does not
actually have gold. So the account that has gold has to get them games or deals first before your daughter can access them.
