    Second Xbox one X dying?


    So, my first xbox one x had to be sent back as it kept black screening, refused to load games, various error codes and messages about taking too long etc and constantly asking to delete corrupted game saves. I got a repair/replacement back after a three
    week wait and this one has now slid into the same pattern of behaviour. I played Fallout 4 over the weekend, a great game but an exercise in frustration as after a couple of hours of play i'd get the corrupt save error message or one about game sync issues.

    Once i'd deleted them from storage an re-synced i'd lost an hour of play/grind. Finally, last night the game stopped playing at all, the title screen comes up, followed by a sound loop and then a black screen or back to home screen. If i then restart the
    console from the menu it won't come back on, it sits at a black screen. If I remove the plug, it will reboot.

    I've only owned the thing since mid-November and it's spent more time with Microsoft than it has with me! Any suggestions or is it ANOTHER dead unit?

    All of a sudden I cant play any games on my xbox one x

    It loads up the game for 5 seconds then goes back to the main screen on the xbox one x

    HELP!!!

    Xbox X stuttering/Lag

    I am on my second Xbox One X because of this. My Xbox One works fine with all games. If I plug in the X every game I have is stuttering and lagging.

    Have you found any fixes for this yet?

    Hi - we have had an xbox one x for two weeks and ours has just done this. I'm worried that we are heading down the same path as you!

    Do you have xbox live? Ours failed after we signed up to xbox live....

    join the unforgiving party. I have now had 4 fail on me. Finally gave up on getting replacements from my GameStop and now tried the repair route with Microsoft to see if luck changes. Never had this issue with my Xbox one.

  6. Same here, Xbox one X bought at D-1, on december starts to sign errors, black screen, freezes and lag.

    Sent to support after christmas and back to me after 15 days, (i'm thinking they only reset my console, thing that i've done many times by myself) after a week, the same problem, today i'll send it back to the support again.

    30 days to the support, less time spent with me...

    They said that if i want, they send me another console with the charge of 400 or 500€ and when they recive mine, they give my money back.

    Really unaceptable ...

    Im having the exact same issues as you guys. Haven't sent it in for repair yet. I have factory reset the console 5 times wiping all data and for a while it will work normally again, at least until there is some data on the internal drive and then off it
    goes. Random lockups, startup errors. Installs never completing and everything error coding. I thought it might be software, but reading these comments looks like #Ill need to send it back.

    my x broke in december. i sent it off to be repaired and they sent it back exactly the same, still broken. ive sent it off to be repaired a second time now. i have zero faith they will fix it. i just want a working console

    i have to sign in before i post this comment. i am signed in. another bit of crap from xbox.

  9. Troubles such as these is why, back in 2003-4, after buying a OG xbox in 2002 and a 2 year MS warranty, I swore never to buy a console untill it's been out for a few years 1st.

    For those 2 years, my console(s) - replaced/repaired - spent more time to/from MS repair than it did getting used by me. It took me 5 yrs to finally buy a 360 - Still kicking, knock on wood and another 2 year to buy an X1 after it released. Biggest problem
    with it is games crashing to dash. (hard reset, wash, rinse and days later... Repeat.) So perhaps I should've waited longer.

    I'll eventually own an X1-X, but after reading these and other threads. I think I'll wait a few more years.

    This time i've put a paper inside the box with the error explanation and what i've done (multiple reset ecc..)

    Last time the day after the one arrives in Frankfut, they send it back, this time it's a week at the support.

    Hope they solve the problem.

    Also, iv'e spoken with the cutomer support and told them that i'm paying the game pass for nothing, 15 days on december and 15 days on Jannuary, a month. (hoping in a refound or somenthing), Instead they told me, Sir you can cancel you subscription if you
    want...

    I'm really sad about all this story.

    As soon my x come back, i will update you guys

    I'm having similar issues, had my device sent back twice... and the nincumtards failed to provide much results beyond factory restoration.... tried to blame my internet, my hard-drive, anything they could find BUT the xbox one x to have fault with

    so damn! It looks like it is an issue , my Xbox one x started black screening as soon as I bought it , I didn’t pay much attention to it , then It happened again I had to turn it on and off a couple of times it worked , then it happened again I had to hard
    reset , it worked , now it happened again this morning and no matter what I do it just isn’t working , by the way that’s 10 hours ago . If Can’t be very common thought because if it was we would have heard more about it

  14. I have the exact same issues listed throughout this. Called support in November and basically gave up with them. Ended up using the Xbox until yesterday and finally had enough. Corrupted files, constant error messages, factory resets, etc.

    This is the absolute worst console i have ever owned (and I've owned almost every console since the original Nintendo and xbox live member for 13 years).

    I am going to be seriously evaluating xbox moving forward if this has consistent issues.

    best I was able to get was them leaving my case open with a support request number. They even tried to get me to send it in for repair again, but screw that. If they didn't fix it the first time, why the heck would I go the same route again. I wasn't about
    to go round and round in circles. Now I wonder if getting a replacement will help considering that this seems to be a common issue with the console.
