    We added an xbox one S to our house, and want to be able to play madden vs one another on the two different xbox. I made the S my home xbox, and my sons accounts are in the family group. How can we play each other on shared digital games?

    AFAIK One game disk allows you to install the game on each console but to play against each other online you will need two copies of the game. If this is true a digital download would be needed on each console (two accounts).

    Your son signs in on your xbox s. You sign in on the other. This way you should both be able to play the same digital version of a game..

    This should help explain, well it doesn't explain, it explains how the xbox division is a freaking disaster, well, no it doesn't explain that, it only explains a small portion why the xbox division is a disaster. LOL

    Your friend cannot install the FULL game and play it on his Xbox One Hard Drive while you also have it on your Hard Drive

    They are trying to make the issue seem better when it really isn't. As I said in my thread. The system they have in place will cause you to pay more for used games at Gamestop because Microsoft/Publishers are getting a %

    .

    Now, you already paid for the used game at Gamestop + added Fees, so why would they charge you a Fee again once you take it home to play?
