    I recently purchased a second hand xbox one, it has fifa 17 downloaded on it (it came per loaded with the xbox). The problem being is once I sign in it tells me I need to purchase the game or sign in as the last user.

    Is it possible to transfer the rights?

    Yes you would probably have to pay a £429 activation fee, but only to the participating retailer, not Microsoft. Because Microsoft are the good guys, they would never dare take any money from you.

    There is already a system for transfer of licences for the 360 (arcade games, DLC, GoD, avatar stuff) which doesn't cost anything. I can't see it being any different for One.

    No. Digital purchases cannot be transferred between accounts. You would have to purchase the game in order to be able to play it.

    You can't have your profile on two 360s at the same time but you can put it onto a USB stick and swap it between consoles that way.
