Second hand xbox one games

Hi,

I've recently bought an xbox one and I want to buy black ops 3 (second hand).

Does this work? Can I use it with my account?

I'm a little confused, will it be exactly the same process of using the disc as if I bought a brand new copy?

Yes you would probably have to pay a £429 activation fee, but only to the participating retailer, not Microsoft. Because Microsoft are the good guys, they would never dare take any money from you.

No. Digital purchases cannot be transferred between accounts. You would have to purchase the game in order to be able to play it.

Yep,it'll be exactly the same as if you bought the game new.

You'll have no problems playing it with your account but you will need a gold membership if you want to play online.

There is already a system for transfer of licences for the 360 (arcade games, DLC, GoD, avatar stuff) which doesn't cost anything. I can't see it being any different for One.

You can't have your profile on two 360s at the same time but you can put it onto a USB stick and swap it between consoles that way.
