Second hand 360 no games load digital or disk.

Hey guy's I am on my brothers account right now. His friend gave him a xbox 360 because he got a new one. So my brother, just got Nba 2k17 disc and black ops bundle digital. Both games when tried to load look like they are booting up, he gets a black screen
as he boots them up and then disconnected from xbox live. Then the black screen turns back to the dash board and he is reconnected to xbox live. I have deleted everything off the hd, formatted everything. Redownloaded black ops, and put in NBA 2k17 and it
still does it. I cleared cache, Ive done tons of stuff but I am stumped here. Any ideas?

will you buy the 720 still

I'd happily buy a console with no disk drive. I don't buy CDs any more, i buy digital music (although i am desperate to find somewhere that offers bettwen sound quality than itunes). As soon as someone comes up with a decent online video purchasing method,
or netflix gets more up to date content, i'll stop buying Bluray. Get the price right on digital games, i'll drop disks like a shot.

The right price means second hand content becomes a non-event. The high prices of games always supported the second hand games industry, and vise versa. Make games cheaper, you won't need to buy second hand, or to rent.

Return Xbox One to Best Buy to get PS4?

I remember when I first got mine. I had all my games on digital until Call of Duty. How nervous I was when I put the disk in to hear a "chugugug" noise for a few seconds until it stopped. The disk chewing noises I had heard people talking about before hand
had me on edge. No problems since....phew lol.

If you start the game while being online connected to Live, the console checks if there is a patch or newer version available. When the console finds that the game needs an update, it'll disconnect you from Live and depending on what you chose will either
download the patch and re-connect you afterwards, or if you decline to update the game, will stay disconnected.

Sometimes the special area where the console stores these updates can get corrupted. In that case you need to clear the cache, which will erase all patches and game updates.

If you then start the game again, and it detects an update, it'll again disconnect you from Live, until the game could be properly patched.

Never mind found it. load first disk then in game menu gives you option to load second disk

As others have said, sadly this is not possible via disk. My partner and I used to by second hand copies of disks to make this more affordable. Now however we buy digital. It's more expensive than a disk but we can game share and play together and cheaper
than buying two. Especially if you use a third party store like CD keys
