    Second controller not working properly


    So I just bought a second xbox one controller and I would like to use it in place of my older one, however when i launch the game with the second controller (first one off and never on) it stops working at the games main menu. i can still go back out to
    dashboard, but i can not activate any of the game menu options or even cycle through them. when i go back to my first controller i have no problems. This new controller will turn the console on and off and do anything in the xbox dashboard but as soon as i
    go to the games themselves the controller wont do anything. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how was it fixed?

    Controller not working properly

    I've read that Xbox controllers almost always fail after 3 months in some way or another. It's extreamly hard to find one that isn't messed up somehow. All 3 of my controllers have something called "Slow-Turn" Has anyone else heard of this?

    What Lofty said. I had to re-synch my controllers twice before it worked properly.

    My second controller is still a bit iffy.

    Cannot play Killer Instinct Local Versus w/ Two Gamertags logged in

    Confirmed as well - for some reason Killer Instinct thinks the Skylanders Portal of Power is the second controller and does not allow an additional controller to be recognized. Once I unplugged it I was able to get local play to work properly.

    No but the controller I had with my Elite for 0ver 3 1/2 years was perfect when I traded it in and the 3 controllers that I have now with my Slim are going good after about 9 months, so I wouldn't say anything about the quality other than them being good.
    Same for all my mates controllers.
