Second controller added with limited function

Hi there,

if I recall correctly a second player will usually require a profile to be signed in for the 2nd player to join a game. This can either be a guest profile or a standard profile that is present on the console.

Keep in mind that 2 (or more) player functionality is depending of the game if it is available and how it may work.

If you're looking to play a disc or a digital game and are playing while connected to a home network, there will be a need for the other controller to sign in, but the sign in does not need to be a profile it may be a guest sign in.

Either way, the second controller will require the use of some signing in.

Is a second profile needed for dvd game local to Xbox? I would not think so.

The game is set to have two packs

One is the limited edition with the 9 maps, armor, live action short, etc

The second is the console with specific start up and function sounds and custom designed console design and controller.

Sounds to me like you unlocked the special functions of the limited controller! Congrats!
