Wow thanks for the quick responses. I checked and my console was already set to home. I went back to test chat and it's working. I appreciate the help, not sure where the glitch was. You can close this.

The second account will have voice chat if you subscribe to Xbox Live, or you Home Share your Xbox Live subscription with the two accounts.

Do you have your other account that has a Xbox Live Gold subscription sign as well or have the other account set as "home" on your Xbox?

This account will need Gold to join parties on Xbox. However, it wont need it on the app. So are you receiving any messages or error codes when you try to voice chat?

Thanks for coming to the forums. If you set the main profile as home, then the second one should have access to gold and chat. This set up is called

home console sharing.
