Searching available content through streaming apps

Thanks a bunch for the response.

So basically Microsoft went backwards here and killed a very useful feature. I hope they bring this back soon. Is there a place where I can submit feedback to the developer team?

Also the link doesn't work for me. Takes me to a "group not found" page. The URL makes me wonder if it's a private group though.

The answer is it doesn't do that -yet- but when you read the responses by ZachJ0hns0n look at the wording... He clearly says it "doesn't yet aggregate all the media from the partners". So it's possible it may in the future, but if and when in the future
is another matter all together.

"Hey guys...want to make sure to separate a few things here. In this release of Xbox the Xbox Modern Marketplace app which used a service that aggregated the majority (but not all) of the media available from xbox and app partners. That meant that when using
voice ("Xbox Bing") to search the Modern Marketplace you got media from multiple services, and you could use voice to search it.

In this update, xbox is supporting Universal App Plaform Apps(aka win 10 apps) and in doing so Xbox has replaced Xbox Modern Marketplace with OneStore. Onestore has the UAP Apps, Games, Movies, Shows, and Music. It however doesn't yet aggregate all the media
from the partners. You can also use Cortana to search the store and she will launch the OneStore with a search for what you were looking for. In the regions where Cortana isn't available...when a user says "Xbox Bing" they are taken to the same OneStore search,
they don't get the old Modern Marketplace aggregate search."

This is a common problem with the dashboard videos that are streamed rather than fully downloaded.



If possible, you might want to look into seeing if said trailers have a downloadable version available. You can search for content using the BING search feature on the dashboard. You can also find them using the search feature on xbox.com



Otherwise, consider using the Youtube or Internet explorer Apps for finding the game trailers and other videos. Aside from going there directly on your computer.

Download the YouTube app to stream online videos on Xbox 360

Sign in with your Xbox Live gamertag.

Go to apps, and then select Browse Apps or Search Apps.

Browse or search for YouTube.

Select YouTube, and then select Confirm Purchase to download and install the app. After the download, the app automatically starts, and you can browse the available content.

To start YouTube later, select My Apps, and then YouTube. You can also start YouTube by selecting Video, and then My Video Apps.

If you have a YouTube account, you can sign in to your YouTube account and access your YouTube subscriptions and playlists.

Your purchases on Xbox Video should work on both consoles, just as they should work on your Windows 8 devices through Xbox Video. If you run a search for some of your missing content, such as the South Park episodes, do they show up as being purchased? Currently
you cannot download them to Xbox One, but they may be available for streaming.
