    So a few months ago a bought the Seagate Xbox one harddrive 1tb. I hooked it up to my system and it hasn't moved since I put it there. Tonight I had to get to an old foot locker for something and had to move the system. In the process of doing all this,
    I had just finished downloading a new game and wanted to restart my system. (Done it a million times) but I needed to unplug the system to make more room to get the locker out. Needless to say everything got unplugged, moved, and put back. I then go to turn
    my system on and the hard drive starts making this wired noise thats like a humming buzzing noise with a pulse. My controller was no longer being recognized by my system. As well as the system would not connect to Xbox Live. It wasn't until I unplugged the
    USB out the hard drive that my controller and Xbox Live at start working again. When I plug the hard drive into any given USB port it still makes the humming noise and the small light won't come on anymore. I would say it was some how my fault, but what's
    the frustrating part is that this hard drive has literally not moved from its spot on the table beside my system since I bought it a few months ago. So is this an ongoing problem with the Seagate hard drives? Am I going to have to find a way to get all my
    games off the hard drive or is there a way to get around this?

    Seagate hard drive issue?

    Did you try changing the cable that plugs the hard drive into the console? I haven't heard of this issue so I'm not sure what's up.

    I went to get it fixed and found out that the needle inside the hardrive that records the data snapped off. So these hard drives are very brittle.

    Currently there is not a list of specific hard drives that are compatible with the 360, but it seems as though Seagate hard drives are known to have issues.

    Does not recognize the external hard drive

    Seagate hard drives are known to have issues on the 360. It would be better to get a different drive.
