Seagate Expansion 3TB won't show all of my contents in media player

Discus and support Seagate Expansion 3TB won't show all of my contents in media player in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I formatted the thing to work as a media player on x box one and it comes up but not all of my contents.     Seagate Expansion 3TB won't show all of my contents in media player


    I formatted the thing to work as a media player on x box one and it comes up but not all of my contents. I plug it back in to my computer and it shows everything is still there. What's missing are video files of my tv shows. HELP?

    Hey I just bought a seagate backup plus 3tb and it was only going to media and not storage for games it wouldn't even let me format it on Xbox one so I called xbox and they said it's not compatible with the xbox it has to be a seagate expansion not a backup
    plus because it just backups files and doesn't let you put games and apps into the storage just media and pictures and music

    Seagate 3tb Expansion Only reading as media!

    When you reboot do you remove the HDD if not try that, plug the HDD in after the console restarts.
