Discus and support Seagate Backup Plus 4Tb not being read in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have a Seagate Backup Plus 4tb hard drive.     Seagate Backup Plus 4Tb not being read


    I have a Seagate Backup Plus 4tb hard drive. When I plug it in I get no prompt to format and it reads it as media, etc files only. I have deleted partition and reformatted several times. Even switched from MBR to GPT and back several times. It either will
    not read it at all or only as media files and never gives an option to format on Xbox One. Help please.

    Has anyone been using a seagate backup plus fast?

    So can anyone help me decide between these three Seagate expansion 4tb, Seagate backup plus 5tb, or Seagate backup plus fast 4tb.

    I have the same problem with the 5TB. I have a Seagate Expansion Plus 3TB and it had no issues whatsoever.

    I wonder if there's a difference between the two that keeps it from working.

    I have the same problem with the 5TB. I have a Seagate Expansion Plus 3TB and it had no issues whatsoever.

    External Hard drive won't work

    I was also able to resolve the issue be changing the cable. For some reason the cable that comes with the Seagate Backup Plus is not 100% compatible with the xBox One. In this case i have a 4TB Seagate Backup Plus
