    Seagate 1tb storage expansion card seems to be stopping the wired connection in my Xbox...


    My xsx was running perfectly up until i got the card for christmas and then after i inserted the card and then turned in my xbox , my ethernet cable wasnt being recognised. From what ive been researching this is a common enough issue and from all the solutions
    ive tried none has worked other than completely removing the card and then the connection is restored. Is this a fault with the card or the console? Could it be fixed with a console update? Shall i return the card and get a replacement?

    I do have two storage devices, one is a 1TB Series X/S Expansion Card and the other is an older hard drive which is a Seagate Hard Drive

    Xbox Series X|S games can only be installed on the console's internal storage or the external Seagate SSD card. Link here. External drives are too slow for those games. The external hard drive can only be used to install backward compatible games (Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One).

    I'm sorry to inform you that it is not possible to use two Seagate Storage Expansion Cards at the same time on Xbox Series X|S consoles. The architecture and design of the console only allow for the connection of a single storage expansion card, and there are no adapters or hubs available to connect two storage expansion cards.
