    Hi,

    So I just bought sea of thieves. After I downloaded it I wanted to start playing but after The screen with "press any key to play" I just get "You have to be logged into Xbox Live to play sea of thieves. I googled it and found nothing. Thank´s for helping.

    hey hi sea of thieves is designed to be a multi person game and its free to play under the xbox games pass so i do believe its a xbox live must unless you have the full game

    ok you might have had the same issue i did, i uninstalled a buch of microsoft apps a while ago. to get the xbox app to work i had to reinstall them. right click start. run powershell as admin. the copy and paste this in the command line to reinstall the

    apps

    Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    now you should be able to log in
