    Sea of Thieves Won’t Download


    I just bought Sea of Thieves and it shows up in my Ready to Install list, but when I try to make it install, nothing happens. I’ve tried downloading it multiple times, even from the store and from the Xbox app from my phone. No error message pops up either.

    There was a service alert a few hours ago regarding purchasing and downloading games. Try to hard restart your console and try to download the game.

    We understand that you're attempting to install Sea of Thieves on your console, but that nothing occurs when you do so.

    We recommend trying a power cycle
    of the console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the
    console    , reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out first and let us know the results.

    There was a service alert up yesterday that affected a lot of users, Have you tried power cycling the console today or clearing the MAC address to refresh things? You should be able to download without issues now.

    There still is the service alert. You'll have to wait for the issue to be resolved.
