Sea of thieves will not load any more

as the title suggests this game wont load anymore, ive had it for a year and it stoped working about 3 weeks ago. I load it it shows the splash screen then reverts back to home screen. No error codes displayed all other games load fine and can play multiplayer
with them. So far ive hard rebooted the console, re downloaded the game, rebooted my router, logged out of my xbox account and logged back in, and ensured my NAT type is set to open. Any other thoughts? It did happen a few months ago too and even microsoft
were stumped but then it started working again fine but now its happened again and this time for several weeks.....

Make sure it's fully updated, and if it is, uninstall and reinstall.

SoT has a notoriously long splash load time. Sometimes it just seems to freeze up. A reinstall will fix (and patch at the same time).

This is annoying depending on your dowload speed but deleting the game and reinstalling it may fix this

Sorry to hear about that.

Your console may have too many files to load data. Try deleting some apps/games (P.S apps and games can be downloaded for no extra fee)

If that does not work, please try this method ( ONLY TO BE USED AS A LAST RESORT )

1) Go to Settings, then Console Settings

2) Look for a reset button. This will delete all files and accounts!

3) When the console fully reset, Click on New account or Add account. Install the games and the problem is solved!
