Sea Of Thieves Stuttering 2022 (PC/Microsoft Store)

So ive played SoT for awhile now, back in november/december i had uninstalled it to make space for other games, the other day i re-installed it but when i play the game, my FPS fluctuates between 89 and 20 and sometimes freezes as soon as i move, if i stand still i can get a solid 90, ive been into settings and had the graphics down to medium and the FPS cap at 72, it still stutters.

-Graphics drivers are updated to the latest (version 512.15 released 22nd March 2022)

- Playing in 1440p (2560x1440)

- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X

- GPU: Geforce RTX 3070

- RAM: 16GB

previously when having the game installed, it has run smoothly with no issues on the highest settings, i figured maybe there is a corrupt file or two so went to verify the files, only to discover there isnt a way to do it that i could find/search (i think incorporating that into the xbox app/microsoft store would be a good idea) so i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, but nothing seems to have changed, it still stutters every couple of seconds, combat is barely survivable. i havent changed anything about the PC/Setup since it worked before, its like this issue has just decided to turn itself on. All other games ive played have run fine (some of them quite demanding such as Red Dead Online on ultra settings, amongst others)

thankyou for taking time to read this, hope there is a fix somewhere, if not then ill probably see what the next SoT update does incase its on their end.
