Sea of Thieves Restarting PC
Hi, Ive encountered a problem that only persists whilst playing SoT.

After 20 minutes or so it will restart my pc giving no errors etc, When trying to the open the game upon reboot it wont open! takes me a few try's and eventually it decides to scan / fix the game but finds nothing wrong.

Now your probably thinking hardware problem , overheating temps etc etc.

Ive ran Stress tests on both the CPU and GPU at 100% for a good 20 minutes on each and nothing happens.

Ive tryed different games and put them on the highest setting possible and left them running and its been fine.

Only happens on Sea of Thieves ( xbox game pass version)

Oh and all my drivers are up to date etc.

Spec are:

Intel i7 8700k

16gb ddr4 3000mhz

Gtx 1080ti 11gb

Asus TuF gaming z370 mobo

750w gold rated psu

Hi There

Please make sure all your hardware drivers and Windows are up to date. Also make sure your PC is well ventilated

A question though, is this only happening with Sea of Thieves or other games as well?

Forgot to add, All drivers are up to date, pc is stripped and cleaned every couple months.

There's nothing overheating etc. ( water cooler + 6 case fases.)

This is the only game that causes this problem to occur

Hey,

did you restart your game? restart xbox?

did you signed off the account and signed back in?

Yes i restart and log off all (it's xbox live on windows - PC)

usually it might take sometime before it changes...do you have this problem on all games or only Sea of Thieves?

I take xbox account only for Sea of Thieves

I am log with the correct nickname however the name of the character is the old nickname (IG)
