Sea of Thieves play time in the Xbox app on Windows 10

I have enjoyed quite a bit of Sea of Thieves over the past week and was researching on how to get some exact numbers out of the Xbox app, but I only seem to get results about the console. Thinking the process should be similar enough I went to "My games"
-> "Sea of Thieves" -> "Achievements", but couldn't find a play time meter there:

The strange thing is that it is there for other games (like Minecraft):

Doesn't Sea of Thieves track my play time at all or is it logged somewhere else?

You're trying to play Sea of Thieves on Windows 10 PC, correct?

If so, on your Windows 10 PC, if you go to Settings>Apps>Xbox app>Advanced Options>Reset.

Next, making sure you're signed out of the Xbox app and try signing back in to launch Sea of Thieves via Xbox Game Pass.

Sadly this is not something that is tracked by Sea of thieves. You would have to try and track it manually.

Im playing on windows 10 pc and i tried to reinstall sea of thieves one time but it didnt work. Today I played sea of thieves myself and nothing happened to me, immediately when a friend joined me, it crashed.

Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

open the windows store and search sea of thieves, see if one of them will let you download. as windows 10 xbox app uses the store to download.

The Windows 10 version of Sea of Thieves does not require the subscription to play it. Although, using online multiplayer features for Xbox games requires Xbox Live Gold. The link we provided explains more about the game. We hope this information helps!
