    Sea of Thieves (on PC) Push to Talk button not working


    I have tried countless times to use the push to talk function and it just won't work. I've mapped it to different keys and nothing even appears when I try to use it and talk. I can hear other people in game including my crew mates, but no one can hear
    me and pressing the push to talk does nothing. Please help. (Also everything regarding my microphone and the permissions the game has is set up correctly)

    [PC] Xbox Game bar push to talk not working in background

    I am having the same issue, this used to work but now I cannot use push to talk in Sea of Thieves unless I toggle the game bar open when in an Xbox Party audio chat.

    I also cannot set mouse buttons as push to talk hotkeys in the Xbox Game Bar settings, only keyboard keys.

    Sea of Thieves is a whole different beast when you use game chat, and it's how I love to play the game. Playing on the PC you can get the best of both worlds, I use push to talk for in-game, so when I want to communicate in game chat it's really easy.
    But we can still have our normal conversations in party chat and it's all good.
