    Hey everyone! I got SoT a day ago and a funny thing happend. I got DCed because of i "had lost connection to the internet" which wasnt true. I was playing with my friend and could for the love of Kraken get back into the game. i found out that you cannot
    join through steam, just through Xbox app. Which i promptly downloaded but now the Xbox app is not registering that i own sea of thieves even after linking the Steam profile. so i caould not connect on my friend anyway. Is there a solution how to connect back
    into a game and ow to register SoT on the xbox app since from what i read its the only way to connect into friends games.

    Why does the Xbox app insist on installing multiple installations of games on my C drive without my permission?

    Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

    If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

    Sea of Thieves Insider is not related to the xbox Insider. Just go to the sea of thieves website to register for the Insider program.
    i should have re written and specified i signed up for the Sea of Thieves Insider Program, but i own the game as a disc and so i have to get the Insider Build from the Xbox Insider Hub

    Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with playing Sea of Thieves you obtained via Game Pass for PC through Steam. In order to play Sea of Thieves, it must be launched through the Xbox App. Despite it being apart from Steam,
    you still have the ability to play with those who have purchased it on Steam.
