Sea of Thieves not appearing in insider hub

I was emailed saying I have been invited to the Sea of Thieves technical alpha for PC, however, it hasn't shown up in my Insider Hub. I tried logging out of my account on all devices and logging back in. Then chatted with live technical
support who suggested I post here. My computer is up to date. I double checked that the Times and Dates were accurate and also reset the windows store. The email says "It's time to install the
Sea of Thieves Technical Alpha onto your Windows 10 PC. " So I know it's for the PC version.

Follow the steps below to get the Xbox Insider hub and to download the game:

• On your Xbox One, head to the Store

• Search for and install the Xbox Insider Hub

• Launch the Hub and you'll find Sea of Thieves waiting for you

• Click the icon which will take you through to the Store page

• Install as you would any other game

I was having a similar issue, and the fix was, since I originally signed up for the alpha, I had changed the Gamertag associated with the email address I got my invite too. So I had to remember the Gamertag I used to register with,
and find out which email is is now associated with, as I changed it since joining. This is happening to a number of people. I would suggest trying any and all MS accounts you have to see if any give you access. You can also sign in to the sea of thieves
site here Sign in to your Microsoft account and it will tell you If you are an insider, and if you are invited to the technical alpha or not. Do you have more then one gamertag you have used at some point
in the past? Do you have more then one MS account?

 

Thanks for the reply! I have only one Gamertag and Microsoft account. Logged into the Sea of Thieves site again and it says I'm both part of the insider program and the technical alpha.

 

Seems like you are most certainly into the program, it shows you are in the alpha in that screenshot. It should be showing up in your Xbox Insider App. Are you launching the app on your windows 10 pc? Does it indicate that you are signed into the same gamertag
in the insider app?

 

Yes and yes. I have one gamertag/email that I use for Microsoft and Xbox. Thanks again for replying.

Please check to see if there is any updates available for your insiders app through the store. This could be because your on an older version and is not up to date.

I'm also having this issue. I got the email saying that it would be available on the Xbox Insider Hub automatically but when I installed it the game was not there. I contacted Xbox support who told me to contact Windows 10 support who told me to contact
Xbox Support who told me to try here. I really don't know what else to do.

 

For those that are 100 percent sure they are signed into the hub using the right gamertag (the one that has Technical alpha access, like is showing in the the first screenshot listed) : some people were sent invites to the wrong platform, so they were sent
Win 10 invite emails, but it actually was an xbox invite or vice versa. I would check on your xbox (if you have one) to see if it is showing on the xbox, in its insider hub.

I would also make sure you have the most up to date version of the insider hub, You try completely logging out of all Xbox and MS apps and websites, and try logging back into the insider app. Rebooting the PC of course as well.
