    Sea of Thieves Multiplayer Problems


    Hello,

    My friends and I have been trying to play Sea of Thieves together. 3 of us bought the game on Microsoft store, one has it through Steam. The person with the Steam copy has been unable to join our multiplayer games.

    He says that the Xbox game bar shows us as online and in-game, but he does not recieve any invites we send to him, and when he uses the in-game "Invite Friends" button, it says he has no friends:

    Very much points to the game not communicating with the Xbox friends list.

    He says he has tried unlinking and re-linking Steam and Xbox and that did not fix the issue.

    He also says that the issue may be related to "Teredo" — here it says it is disabled / offline...

    Any ideas for how we could get his game to connect with Xbox and allow him to recieve / send invites and join our game?

    Unable to Join Game or Accept Invites on Sea of Thieves after installing Steam version

    After uninstalling and reinstalling Sea of Thieves and the Xbox Game Bar many times, I am able to invite and accept invites on Sea of Thieves Insider through the Game Bar. I am able to send invites from the Game Bar for Sea of Thieves. However, when I receive an invite or try to join in on Sea of Thieves, I still have the same problem. Sea of Thieves and Sea of Thieves Insider are two different builds. There must be a file somewhere on my computer that is not being deleted or uninstalled and it's not allowing me to accept these invites on just Sea of Thieves. I don't know how to find this file.

    I have the same problem with sea of thieves but when my brother clicks accept to join me in the game it says 'select an app to open this ms-xbl-multiplayer link' and then it says default app is minecraft
