Sea of Thieves missing from my library

I bought the game during the beta and played for a while before I went on a trip and now, months later the game is completely gone from my library and wants me to buy it again on the game store. At first I thought I might be signed into the wrong account
but I had several messages from xbox thanking me for pre-ordering the game.







Any help would be appreciated.

Lost my black dog hook and I still don't have my Ebon pistol

I need help with the Sea of Thieves game, I still havent received the Ebon Pistol and now the hook from the black dog pack is missing. :\

This is probably what happened.

Keep a couple things in mind

When a pre order is done with a credit/debit card the card itself is not charged till approximately 10 days before the game is released.

If for some reason MS can not get the money at that time they will cancel the order.

So in your situation Dont know when the Beta was for this particular game was so

Say you pre ordered the game when the Beta was still running and that was longer then 10 days before the game was released.

Then come 10 days prior to the game being released MS tried to put the charge through and could not for some reason so they cancelled the order.

The easiest way to tell if this is what happened would be to log into your account at account.microsoft.com and look at your order history for the game and if it shows that it was cancelled then that is what happened. and you would need to purchase the game.

But keep in mind that he would receive an email when they cannot charge the card! Where they ask to check what's going on with the payment method!

So, what I think, is possible that the pre-order went wrong...

Thank you for replying! So it turns out the payment was canceled. I went through my paypal account transaction history and there was no payment for the game corresponding to the date in my order history. But why would the payment have not gone through?
If I had a valid paypal account and microsoft had already gotten the payment why would it be refunded? Also if I buy the game again will I miss out on the black dog pack?

 

When you say that their was no transaction for the date in question are you talking about the date you placed the preorder or approximately 10 days prior to the game being released?

The only payment option that takes the money immediately is if you use xbox gift cards and put them on your account and use that balance for the purchase otherwise it would wait till approximately 10 days prior to game release before trying to take the money
and if there was no money available then it would decline and cancel your order.

As far as the pre order bonus I do not know the answer to that question.
