    Hello ! I just installed the game, it works fine for the first 15 seconds and then says that there is a missing file, and crash.

    I know that uninstall/reinstall could work, but it took me a very long time to DL the game, and I'm not sure it will work anyway

    The missing file is described in the last two lines of the screenshot. Thanks for your help !

    Hey,

    So I couldn't find anything directly realted to my problem since the missing file is not DLL, I did restart my computer but it did not change anything

    whenever I reach the main menu, it crashes after 10 seconds.

    Thanks for your help, I guess I'm in for another 12 hours download, I really hope it will fix the problem

    Have you tried looking at the sea of thieves forums if there are people that have the same problem as you they might even know a way to fix it and try to restart your pc maybe that will help also

    I'm sorry to hear it will take that long to download again. :( But usually a uninstall/reinstall can fix the problem. It could be another issue, and if so, then let us know and we'll go from there. But even through the long download times, the uninstall/reinstall
    is the first thing I would try. Good luck!

    One thing you might want to try is open up Settings > Apps > Sea of Thieves > Advanced Options and then click the "Reset" button. Now, I'm not certain if that will fix the file specifically, as it should set options back to default, but it's worth a shot
    there.

    This thread here also has a number of other solutions and things to check, such as Anti-Virus software possibly trying to delete
    or quarantine the file.

    Please let us know what you try out of there and if it works or does not, and we can try to find some other troubleshooting steps from there.
