    Sea of Thieves keeps installing itself


    One of my biggest regrets was installing sea of thieve and playing it. The game sucks. Nothing to play for besides cosmetics. One day the game had trouble updating so I said forget it and uninstalled it. Well, now the game installs itself and slides right
    into my update cue which causes continuos notifications of it trying to update. Microsoft, can you please help me with this stupid game so it never exists on my hard drive?

    Why does the Xbox app insist on installing multiple installations of games on my C drive without my permission?

    Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

    If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

    Game Pass is a subscription service to get access to games including Sea of Thieves.

    Gold is a subscription service to be able to play online. Sea of Thieves is an online only game and would require gold to be able to play it.

    Unless he own Sea of Thieves by itself, he needs both.

    Can anyone help me with my xbox app not installing/launching games?

    Also the problem with the game not installing is only for sea of thieves but for other games they get installed but when I launch them it pops up with the error code 0x803f8001 while for sea of thieves it pops up when I try to install the game.

    cant install certain games

    i cant uninstall any games as there are no games installed. and my windows is fully updated.

    edit: yesterday evening i succesfully installed sea of thieves but deleted it because othergames wouldnt install and now sea of thieves wont install either there are still some games in the recently installed tab in the start menu
