    I bought sea of thieves when it was on sale for 50% off back in April, played the game for a few weeks with no problems, stopped playing, and wanted to start playing again. However, whenever I try to open the game I get a message saying "Sea of Thieves is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001". I'm logged in to both the microsoft store and the xbox app with the account that bought sea of thieves, and whenever I go to the game page of sea of thieves it says that I own the game, even though the message says that it isn't available in my account.

    I've tried the following methods:
    Logging in and out on the microsoft store and xbox app
    Uninstalling and reinstalling sea of thieves
    Running the windows app troubleshooter

    what should I do?

    sign into the xbox store with the same microsoft account linked in the game then redeem, they will be added to the account and available next time you launch sea of thieves.

    Game disapeared from library after years of use

    Hello, Philip. I can suggest something, but I can't guarantee that it will work:

    Step 1. Open the Microsoft Store again, click on your account profile picture and go to Settings.
    Step 2. There, make sure to enable “offline permissions”
    Step 3. Open the Xbox app and sign out from the account that owns Sea of Thieves. Then, sign in with your main account, where you have the Sea of Thieves progress.
    Step 4. Attempt to play the game from the Xbox app.

    Note: In case the game is not listed on the Xbox app, press the Windows key on your PC and type “Sea of Thieves”. Then, verify if you can play the game in that way.

    Apart from that, please note that it's not possible to merge any Microsoft account with another one, and that purchases or any kind of content isn't transferable between accounts.
